Picture this. You've just spent thousands of dollars on a dream Alaskan Cruise for you and your family, spent months planning the trip of a lifetime, traveled a great distance to Seattle to board your ship only to be turned away because you don't have the proper documents. It's not uncommon. In fact, that's the very scene that a family from India faced this summer when they were left standing at the dock. A cruise line reservation agent who helped book their cruise explained that they would only need valid Indian passports to board the ship. She was wrong. The cruise itinerary, that embarked and disembarked in Seattle, would be sailing through Canada where passengers from India are also required to have a Canadian visa to set sail. The good news is that the family received a credit from the cruise line so they can reschedule their cruise. But it brings up an important fact - it is ultimately the traveler's responsibility to have proper documents to travel.
A client once told me that taking a Disney Cruise after their stay at Walt Disney World was like visiting the fifth park, except that this one was all about relaxing in paradise. I couldn't agree more! What a perfect best-of-both-worlds vacation! Live it up with endless fun, entertainment and adventure of the parks and then set sail to relax on the high seas with a Disney Cruise. Even better, combining the two is easier and more affordable than you think.

Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic is one of the most popular tourist destinations. Since then this lush, tropical island paradise has become a mecca for vacationers seeking affordable all-inclusive vacations.
There are a little over 100 resorts lining Punta Cana's 8 main beaches, most of them offer all-inclusive amenities. But we'll be honest, vacationers seeking quality service and food and who prefer a little more luxury will find the choices to be limited. Resorts in Punta Cana do not always live up to the pictures and descriptions on their websites. So how can you afford a luxury Punta Cana resort without lowering your expectations?

For the third year in a row, Disney's Castaway Cay is ranked Best Cruise Line Private Island by Cruise Critic members. Castaway Cay, a featured stop on Disney's Bahamian and Caribbean cruise itineraries, includes activities for kids and adults. Disney does a remarkable job of making this small island feel relaxed and uncrowded. Guests love biking leisurely around the island, floating on rafts in the calm crystal blue waters, and snorkeling in the protected lagoon complete with lifeguards. Adults can retreat to Serenity Bay, an adult only beach; while kids prefer the thrills at Pelican Plunge! There are far too many activities at Castaway Cay to mention in this article, but trust us when we say this will be the highlight of your Disney Cruise. In fact, the only thing that could top a day at Castaway Cay, are two stops at this magical island paradise!
